This is your neighborhood!
With all the doom and gloom in the housing market, how bout some good news! Vistancia is one of the most beautiful communities in the Valley of the Sun! Wether you rent, own or are thinking about buying a home in Vistancia. NOW IS THE TIME, my family has lived here for 1.5 years and prices are awesome right now! Vistancia is not filled with empty homes like some other communities. Yes, values are down, but the outlook is good!
The Waiting Game…

The air was tense on Monday night at the APS/Line Siting Hearing. Over 250 Vistancia residents, aka The Seeing Red Brigade, showed there support to fight APS’s proposed powerlines just north of Vistancia. The panel seemed receptive to the outcry from Cathy Carlat, Peoria’s Vice Mayor and a handful of well prepared Vistancia Residents. 100% of the dozen or so speakers were against the proposed alignment and for the alternative route along Hwy 74. We can only wait and see if APS decides to put the needs of its customers before its own.
AZCentral.com on the meeting is here.
UPDATE: AZCentral also says Suprise is up in arms about the section of the proposed powerlines in there area.
